Illumination Parade on the Great Sacandaga Lake

Our 1st Annual Illumination Parade is getting closer! 

For those of you who have been asking about the route, here’s a more detailed explanation of where the parade will run…
—> Start is at Pluchino’s Marina at approximately 8:30pm
—> Vessels will leave the marina and head north past Sport Island Pub to the Northville Bridge 
—> Vessels will turn around at the Northville Bridge and head south on the opposite shoreline, this follows along with the marked channel 
—> Vessels will then make a right turn to head towards Mead Island (aka Mosquito Bay) 
—> Another right turn will be made near the Mosquito Bay opening, vessels will begin to head north past the Northampton Beach Campground. Vessels will return to Pluchino’s Marina to end the route. 

This is a total distance of around 8.10 miles. All boats are welcome to join in! We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the route prior to the parade, feel free to save the picture to use the night of.
